Croatia Qualifications & Requirements

Batay sa mga ulat ng DMW:

• Language proficiency: Dapat magaling sa Ingles; hindi kailangan ng Croatian language proficiency, bagaman maaaring bigyan ng basic training sa Croatia.
• Physical fitness: Kailangang physically fit sapagkat maraming trabaho (tulad ng housekeeping, hotel attendant) ay pisikal ang hinihingi. 
• Relevant experience: Kailangan ng karanasan sa housekeeping, food service, frontdesk, reception, o katulad na hospitality roles.
• General qualifications (according sa usual na process ng Croatia):
  - Valid passport na may sufficient validity (usually 6 na buwan beyond stay)
  - Employment contract or job offer mula sa Croatian employer
  - Mga educational certificates at diplomas (posibleng kailangan itranslate at iauthenticate)
  - Medical exam / health clearance (physical fitness)
  - Police clearance certificate mula sa PNP (no criminal record)
  - Resume/CV, cover letter, at references (kung kailangan)

How to Apply for a Job in Croatia?

• Wait for official DMW announcement: May around 3,500 slots for hotel/hospitality jobs. Ang hiring ay government-to-government (G-to-G), so legit at walang placement fee.
• Mag-apply lang sa DMW (PEGPB): Huwag sa kung sinu-sinong nag-aalok sa FB o TikTok. DMW lang ang official channel.
• Prepare your documents: Ayusin na lahat: CV, police clearance, passport, medical, at proof of work experience.
• Selection & Employer Interview: Kapag shortlisted ka, possible na may interview with the Croatian employer. Libre ito, covered ng employer.
• Pre-departure training:
  - May PDOS (Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar) mula sa OWWA.
  - May briefing din from DMW bago ang alis.
• Deployment: Pag natanggap ka, lipad na! Expect salary of €1,000+ per month (around ₱62k) + free accommodation in most jobs.
